About carhire.pt

carhire.pt is an independent guide to hiring a car in Portugal. It is not a rental company and does not take bookings. We write about the costs and rules that booking sites tend to leave in the small print, and we check the facts that change, such as tolls, against Portuguese sources.

How we make money

The "Compare prices" buttons link to a car hire comparison site. If you book through one of them we may earn a commission. You pay the same price, and it does not change what we write: we do not rank or review individual rental companies.

If you allow it, Google Analytics uses cookies to measure visits and which comparison links are clicked. There is no personalised advertising.
