Tips for Ponta Delgada
- The island's fleet is small and sells out in July and August. Book as early as you book the flight.
- Weather changes fast on the crater rims: drive up to Sete Cidades or Lagoa do Fogo when the morning is clear and keep the afternoon flexible.
